On the left navigation menu, choose Settings and then one of the sub-menu items. There are several account settings that you can configure from here.
Billing / Invoices
This option will show up under the Settings / Billing menu item, once you have at least one invoice that has been created. This means that at least one month has passed since you have purchased something on our platform, such as a monthly membership or a Tenant Verification Report.
Invoices are created for each month that you have purchased something on the platform. If you have not made any purchases, no invoice will be generated.
You can choose any invoice using the Year and Month dropdown lists.
Billing / Payment Methods
On this page, you can manage your payment methods. There are two different types of payment methods that can be used: Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) or Credit Card.
The blue circled checkmark beside the name indicates which payment method is your current primary payment method. When the invoicing process runs each month, the primary payment method is the one that will be charged. You can use the Pin icon to change your preference and set another method of payment as your primary payment method.
You can delete any payment method that is not your primary payment method. Only if you do not have any outstanding payment items (such as a Tenant Verification Report or Tenant PAD transactions) can you delete your primary payment method.
Profile
On this page, you can manage your basic contact information.
Security
This page allows you to change your email address, which is also part of your sign-in credentials, your password, and enable two-factor authentication.
Email Address Change
When you change your email address, a confirmation email is sent to the new email address to ensure that it has been entered correctly and that it is an email address you control. A notification is also sent to your old email address for security purposes.
Password Change
The Change Password function is straightforward. Simply enter in your old password, new password, then confirm your new password.
Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two factor authentication (2FA) is a method of adding an extra layer of security to your account. Typically, an app is installed on your smartphone which will generate a different numeric code every 30 seconds. When logging into our platform, the site will ask you for this code. This further secures your account by ensuring that you have both the regular credentials (email address and password), and in addition to that, you have your mobile device.
Notification Settings
There are email notifications that are sent to you when certain events take place on the system. These notifications would include such things as reminders that a monthly rent payment is coming up on the next business day, that a PAD transaction has been processed or that a tenant has responded to a maintenance request update.
Turning this setting to the Off position will stop any future email notifications for these events.
This will not stop all emails from being sent, however. Emails that are necessary for functioning accounts, such as password reset, are still sent out.
New Prospect Notifications
You can also turn off notifications for new prospects separately. The reason for this is that when you are advertising a unit and sending the application link to new prospects, getting an email notification for each one that expresses interest could result in you receiving many emails. Some landlords receive hundreds of inquiries for each unit that goes up. For this reason, you are able to turn off this notification separately.
Features
To keep our platform as clean and simple as possible, we will allow users to enable certain features that are disabled by default. On this page, you can enable those features.
Performance Calculator – Found under the tools menu. This is a calculator to help you understand the profitability and cashflow of a future investment.
Reports – We have added a new report for tracking profit and loss (P&L). If enabled, this will appear under the reports menu.
Close Account
In the event that you would like to close your account, navigate to this page, and follow the instructions. Your account will be deleted, and your data will be purged from the system after a 90-day period. If you would like to reinstate a deleted account, please contact us.
