The Data Building Plan

Normally, when a landlord or Property Manager wants to use our platform or a platform like ours, there is a cost to do so.  This is because of a few reasons:

  • Software is expensive to develop
  • Fees from 3rd parties (e.g. Payment Processing, Background/Credit Checks, SMS, eSignature)
  • General Operating Costs
  • Legal, Marketing, etc.

However, in the StreamlineLS system, the landlord or property manager can get these fees either waived or reduced by participating in what we’re calling the Data Building Plan.  Under this new plan, the monthly PAD payment fee drops from $2 to $0, so you can receive payments through our system for free (both personal and corporate).  In addition, the cost of a Tenant Verification Report (Enhanced ID Check, Softcheck background check, Equifax Credit Report) drops from $20 to $15.

How to Participate

The Data Building Plan is by invitation only at this time.  This will be discussed with you as you’re signing up to the platform.

In the future, we will be releasing a feature called the Prospect Intake System.  This is a system that will help you capture all of the relevant information for new prospects that are interested in renting a unit from you.  You can configure an intake form which can ask questions like total household salary, number of people/pets, etc.  It will be fully customizable.

In exchange for gaining access to our premium features at either a low or no cost, we ask that you utilize this prospect intake system, when it’s ready (Q2 of 2024).  We will be taking feedback on the system, so if there’s something that will help you in your business, we can look at adding that.

Why We’re Doing This

Gaining access to the pool of people looking to rent a unit is a key part of our business initiative.  It is the reason why we’re able to exchange access to our premium features either for free (PAD) or well below current market prices, in the case of the TVR.

As a landlord or property manager, by having interested prospects enter their information into the platform, we are able to better provide products and services to a much larger group of people.  And that is a key part of our business plan.

Of course you’ll be able to provide feedback on this system, and we’re not going to be very meticulous about it’s use right away.  But that should give you an idea of the overall direction of where we’re going and how you can benefit from this.
